<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily select video content suitable for the intention of a user. <P>SOLUTION: Contents are stored (recorded) in a storage part 17, and analyzed, and inter-content similarity is stored in an inter-content information storage part 21. Viewing candidates are selected based on the operation of a user from a plurality of contents stored in the content storage part 17, and displayed at a display part 23. A broadcast receiving part 3 stores a broadcast content in a content storage part 17 according to an automatic/semi-automatic storage instruction based on the storage instruction or viewing history of a user or the like, and stores the broadcast content in the content storage part 17. When the storage of content ends, the similarity of the content with the already stored other contents is calculated by a content analysis part 25. The calculation method of similarity is described later. Furthermore, arrangement coordinates to an information space are calculated for clarifying a relation between the contents. The detail arrangement method is mentioned later.
