Controlling the temp of air used in glass - manufacture

Air to vary the temp. is blown through nozzles, and a heat exchanger in the pipe between the air inlet and the nozzles removes heat from at least part of the air. This cools the air to a temp. below that of the air flowing through the inlet. Temp. probes detect the temp. of the air and set the heat exchanger by control elements responding to the temp. probes. It then removes the desired amount of heat from the air and maintains it at a selected value.
