An image transmitter of the type which includes a projecting lens 6 from which the image which is to be sent directly or via a mirror system is projected onto a scanning device 7 which scans the projected image to generate an electrical, image representative transmission signal is characterised by those elements 9 in the scanning device which have reflective surfaces 25 being placed at an angle to the image plane of the projected image so that reflections from the surfaces do not strike the front surface of the lens and can therefore not be re-reflected by it. One or more colour filters (34, Fig. 3) can be placed between the scanning device and the lens 6 such that the front surface thereof also lies at an angle to the image plane of the projected image. <IMAGE> |
