PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a folding chair of which the number of part item is small. SOLUTION: This folding chair 1 is equipped with a seat section frame 2, a rear leg frame 3, a front leg frame 4, a back section frame 5 and a locking device 20 or the like. The rear leg frame 3 is rotatable to the seat section frame 2, the front leg frame 4 is rotatable to the back section frame 5, and the back section frame 5 is rotatable to the seat section frame 2 respectively. Respective frames 2, 3, 4 and 5 are connected by the locking device 20, and can be locked under a using state of the folding chair 1. Thus, the rotations of respective frames 2, 3, 4 and 5 can be locked by ensuring the required strength of the folding chair 1 under the using state without providing reinforcing members to hold an opening angle between the rear leg frame 3 and the front leg frame 4, or to support the seat section frame 2 to the front leg frame 4. Therefore, a folding chair of which the number of part items is less as compared with a conventional type folding chair can be provided.
