PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain cost reduction, while reducing the capacity of a memory for input image to store image data and a memory for output image less than that of two screenfuls of image data in an apparatus of image data recording to output a image data of a screenful data, after inputting it to store and after performing it to output. SOLUTION: In the apparatus, one common storage medium 10 is shared between the memory for input image and the memory for output image, when performing output-processing of the image data outputted from an image data recording means 3, if inputting of new image data from an image reading device 1 is needed, the output-processing is suspended to record the image data under the output-processing into the means 3. Then, newly inputted image data from the device 1 is stored, after recording of the image data into the means 3 has been made, the image data under the output-processing is re-outputted from the means 3 to the medium 10 when successively carrying out time-division control processings for output-processing by a control means 20.
