<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an indoor unit of an air conditioner capable of terminating an inside cleaning operation in a short time, shortening an operation time, keeping the inside of a main body further in a clean state for a long period, and keeping initial air-conditioning performance at installation. <P>SOLUTION: An air filter 11, a heat exchanger 8, and a cross flow fan 21 disposed in a casing 23 forming a ventilation secondary side of the heat exchanger to constitute a blower 20, are successively disposed in an air passage 24 communicating a suction port 4 and a supply port 6 of the indoor unit body 1, an ozone generating device 18 generating ozone in the indoor unit body for sterilizing the inside of the indoor unit body, an inside cleaning device F composed of a fan cleaning device B for cleaning the cross flow fan, and an exhaust device D for discharging the dust and the like generated in accompany with the operation outdoors, are disposed in the indoor unit body, a movable panel and a communicating passage M formed at a rear face side of supply louvers for communicating the supply port and the suction port, are constituted to close the suction port by the movable panel 2A and to close the supply port by the supply louvers 7a, 7b in the inside cleaning operation, and a control portion S is disposed to control operations of the ozone generating device and the cross flow fan. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
