PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric deionizer which has improved boron removing performance than a conventional high-performance electric deionizer.SOLUTION: An electric deionizer has cathodes and anodes, and concentration chambers and desalting chambers which are alternately formed by arraying a plurality of cation exchange membranes and anion exchange membranes between the cathodes and the anodes, where the desalting chamber is filled with an ion exchange resin. The ion exchange resin is an ion exchange resin having an average particle diameter of 100-300 μm. Preferably, a uniform coefficient of the ion exchange resin is 1.1 or less.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
