<p>The transport and inverting mechanism is particularly for packing sections of cardboard, with parallel compartments open to the top, and delivered and stored in stacks. Two sections are fitted together by insertion of the walls of one in the compartments of the other. Two sections are extracted at a time from a magazine by a conveyor belt, and the top one is lifted off the bottom one and inverted on the belt behind the bottom one so that its compartments can be filled after those in the bottom one. A hook inverts the top section, and points against the travel direction at a height such as to engage with this top section by the base.</p> |
