<p>The wired TV system has a central station connected by a one or two-way network to subscriber stations. A central data processing unit sends specific control signals to connect or disconnect individual subscribers individual switches with corresp. addresses. Switches of several subscriber lines which radiate from a common multiple distributor are arranged in groups as one or several units. A common microcomputer for selectively driving the switches is mounted in the distributor and is connected to the central data processing unit.</p> |
