Particles having mutually different charging characteristics, particles charged in a single polarity, particles charged in a single polarity and given a single color, or particles having mutually different colors and mutually different charging characteristics are sealed in a space between transparent substrates. An electric field is produced between the substrates to fly and move particles and thereby display an image. Alternatively, a potential difference is established between opposite paired electrodes to produce an electric field between the substrates. A reversible image display sheet and an image display such that the display is of a dry type, the structure is simple, the stability and sharpness are excellent, no strong electric field for drive is needed, general−purpose electronic materials are used are provided.
