<p>The shock absorbing saddle tube for a bicycle has a tube (1) containing the shock absorber. A small dia. tube (6) slides in the fixed outer tube (7) and has a spring (8) to absorb the shocks and a damper to control its rebound. An alloy coupling (2) connects the inner tube and the saddle support tube. A stop bolt (13) extends into the base of the tube to regulate the spring preload by manual adjustment.</p> |
