PURPOSE:To make it possible to prevent reduction of the service life of the electron tube of the title by gas by heating a glass bulb at 70 deg.C or over while applying getter flash. CONSTITUTION:A stem 3 having an exhaust tube 1 provided and an electron gun 2 installed is sealed with a glass bulb 4, and while the glass bulb 4 is heated in a heating furnace, the glass bulb 4 is exhausted, where the exhaust tube 1 is sealed. Then it is put into the heating furnace again, in which temperature is resin until the glass bulb is heated to be over 70 deg.C, and high frequency heating is applied in this condition, so getter material 5 is flashed. Since the getter flash is applied with occluded gas emitted by this, the gas is completely adsorbed in the getter film formed by the getter flash, and the gas adsorbed in the getter film is not emitted in the cathode-ray tube, because gas adsorption by the getter is irreversible.
