PURPOSE: A driving unit of a knuckle press is provided to minimize the operation space of the knuckle press by performing a linking process using a link device around a rotary shaft, and to reduce the manufacturing costs. CONSTITUTION: A driving unit of a knuckle press includes a link device(40) and a power transmission device(50). The link device lifts a slider(30). The power transmission device includes a flywheel(51), a rotary shaft(52), and a connecting rod. The flywheel is rotated by the torque applied from a motor. The rotary shaft is combined to the inner center of the flywheel to be rotated. The connecting rod is installed in between the rotary shaft and the link device for transferring the torque. The rotary shaft includes a driving eccentric cam(521) connected to an input connection unit of the connecting rod, and a delay eccentric cam connected to one of links of the link device. The delay eccentric cam delays the lowering speed of the slider.
