The invention relates to a method of impregnating electrolytic capacitors with a tetracyanoquinodimethane (TCNQ) salt, characterised in that it comprises the following steps: - deposition, onto an etched anode (6), of a first conducting layer (5) constituted by a TCNQ salt; - formation of a dielectric layer (7) on the anode (6), beneath the first conducting layer (5); - deposition, on the first conducting layer, of a second layer of the said TCNQ salt in order to obtain a solid electrolyte layer. <IMAGE>
