PURPOSE:To provide a net for papermaking capable of preventing stain resulting from adhesion of gum pitch contained in a papermaking raw material and standing long-term use (excellent durability). CONSTITUTION:A net for papermaking consists of a net base part made by weaving nylon yarn or polyester yarn as warp A and nylon yarn or polyester yarn as weft B, a coating film of resin formed on the surface of each yarn, composed of a resin polymerizable with a graft polymerizable monomer described in the following and a graft polymerization part formed by subjecting a hydrophilic group-containing monomer to graft polymerization on the coating film of the resin. A thermosetting resin such as epoxy resin (including urethane- modified epoxy resin), urethane resin or phenol resin is used as the resin material constituting the coating film of the resin. 2-Acrylamido-2- methylpropanesulfonic acid, vinylsulfonic acid, styrenesulfonic acid or allylsulfonic acid can be used as the monomer to be subjected to graft polymerization. |
