PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate video which operates in response to the movement of an operator precisely and speedily by a method in which pieces of image information including the image of a character moving based on the movement of his arms are stored for the number of the kinds of the movements, the image information instructed by a signal from a detection means and an instruction means is selected, and display control is exerted. SOLUTION: Upon receiving the supply of an output signal corresponding to an attack operation by an operator from an elbow sensor interface 2a and an grip operation interface 3a, a CPU 1 reads out a face and a left uppercut from a kind table, and recognizes a left uppercut attack delivered by the operator to the face of his opponent boxer. Consequently, after reading out particular image selection data from a ROM 7, the CPU 1 reads out, from an image memory 6 according to the instruction of the image selection data, a scene where the left uppercut by the operator hits the opponent boxer on the face and then an image plane where the opponent boxer loses his balance, and exerts display control. |
