PURPOSE: A real time display method of a spectrum analyzer is provided to display a signal in real time and to measure the whole frequency range in real time. CONSTITUTION: According to the display method using the first spectrum analyzer and the second spectrum analyzer, a signal source is inputted to the first spectrum analyzer, and then a waveform is displayed and at the same time waveform data and a pulse type sweep gate signal are output. The second spectrum analyzer receives the waveform data and the sweep gate signal from the first spectrum analyzer, and displays the waveform using the waveform data by being swept at a falling edge of the sweep gate signal. And also the second spectrum analyzer outputs the pulse type sweep gate signal to the first spectrum analyzer. And the waveform is displayed by being swept at a falling edge of the sweep gate signal inputted from the second spectrum analyzer.
