PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication system achievable using a simplified transfer table, and further, also applicable to route control (including an alternate route) for a data packet.SOLUTION: The communication system includes a route management server for transmitting a plurality of pieces of transfer route information composed of identifiers for identifying a communication interface provided in an individual transfer node on a transfer route of a data transfer network, and a transfer node for selecting transfer route information to be used for packet transfer processing from the plurality of pieces of transfer route information about a packet including the plurality of pieces of transfer route information acquired from the route management server in a header area, and executing packet transfer processing according to one of the identifiers constituting the selected transfer route information.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
