PURPOSE:To obtain a heating effect prominent in the external appearance by a method wherein a flame cylinder of a stove is formed of a transparent or semitransparent material, and metal or metallic compound films of different characteristics are formed at the upper and lower surfaces of the flame cylinder. CONSTITUTION:The kerosene stove is so constructed that a fuel tank 4 is arranged at the bottom part of a combustor frame member 5 including a reflection plate 6, a flame spreading means 3 for forming a burning flame is arranged above the tank 4, and the flame cylinder 1 is arranged to surrounding the flame. In this instance, the flame cylinder 1 is made of a heat resistant and transparent or semitransparent material and coated with a film 2 on the surface. The film 2 is formed by heating and vaporizing a metal monomer such as iron, tin or titanium or a compound thereof with a non-metal in a vacuum of high temperature to condense on the surface of the flame cylinder 1. The film 2 is formed by changing its characteristics in the manner such that the thicknesses of its upper and lower parts thereof are made different to each other. |
