PURPOSE:To improve the fidelity of a regenerated signal remarkably by regarding a received sequence which has less difference from last decoded data as a correct received sequence, and using it as current decoded data. CONSTITUTION:Two received sequences r1i and r2i are both inputted to a switching circuit 1 and a comparing circuit 2; the sequence r1i is inputted to an arithmetic circuit 3, and the sequence r2i is inputted to an arithmetic circuit 4. The circuit 2 compares the sequence r1i with the sequence r2i to judge whether the both coincide with each other or not, and outputs information on the result to a control circuit 6. The circuit 3 calculates the difference between the sequence r1i and last decoded data ri-1 outputted from a delay circuit 5 and outputs the difference value to the circuit 6, and the circuit 4 calculates the difference between the sequence r2i and last decoded data ri-1 and outputs the difference value to the circuit 6. The circuit 6 regards a received sequence with less difference from last decoded data as a correct received sequence and sends out the result as a control signal to the switching circuit 1. |
