The invention relates to a method of bonding an object of plastic to an object of wood. The object of plastic, provided with a contact face, is heated close to the surface on its contact face and is pressed onto the uncoated object of wood. As a result, the soft plastic close to the surface flows into the pores of the object of wood and during setting forms a solid bond.
