<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming system and an image forming device that can maintain data confidentiality without lowering the processing efficiency of image forming. <P>SOLUTION: Outside a time range of a confidential mode (S21: NO), if there is a print job to be executed (S22: YES), printing processing is executed according to the print job (S23); or if there is no print job to be executed (S22: NO), nonconfidential data stored in an HDD device are completely erased (S26).
