PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a new nanostructure of zinc sulfide by a simple method. SOLUTION: Carbon powder and carbon fiber are heated up to 1,500 to 1,600°C, and zinc sulfide powder up to 1,250°C, under airflow of nitrogen and vapor, and products are deposited on a substrate kept at 400 to 600°C.
