PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile body, a proxy device, and a sensor information communication method capable of realizing, when acquiring information from sensors dispersed in a wide range via a fixed network in a host at a remote place, and provide a system therefor at a low cost. SOLUTION: An acquisition request of information of a sensor (any one of 21-28) in a desired position is performed by a query from a remote host 13 or 14 fixed to the fixed network 11. When a query transferred from a proxy device 34 or 35 to a mobile body 31 or 32 registering position information matched to an area (any one of 1-4) designated by this query is received, the sensor information received by the mobile body 31 or 32 is transmitted to the remote host 13 or 14 that is the transmitter of the received query through the fixed network 11.
