BRAKING DEVICE FOR VEHICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate variation of the vehicle deceleration characteristic relative to an operation force and to prevent deterioration of operation feeling by correcting and deriving the control target value based on the comparison result between the actual characteristic actually measuring an operation force to operation amount characteristic of the reaction force generation means and the reference characteristic of the reaction force generation means even if there are manufacturing variation of the predetermined range in a reaction force generation means in a braking device for a vehicle.

SOLUTION: The braking device for the vehicle is a hydraulic brake-by-wire type and has a stroke simulator communicating to an output port of a master cylinder. An ECU corrects the operation force to the operation amount characteristic of the stroke simulator based on the comparison result of the actual characteristic actually measuring relative to the reference characteristic, and derives the control target value (step 102 to 110) and controls the braking force so as to be the control target value (step 112).
