PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure the bloodstream of a limited tissue as desired. SOLUTION: A light emitting surface of a light emitting part 3a at a photodetecting means 3 and a photodetecting surface of a photodetecting part 3b are close contacted with a tissue of a living being and a logarithmic conversion part 4a of a bloodstream data detection means 4 is given an output V(t) of the photodetecting part 3b and a set value V0 to output log V0/V(t)}. An amplifying part 4b of a bloodstream data detection means 4 multiplies the output by 680/(ε.da.a.b)}. The values in the parenthesis are previously determined as follows:εrepresents a molar extinction coefficient at an isosbestic point, da an average optical path length to the photodetecting surface from the light emitting surface in the tissue of the living being, (a) the concentration of hemoglobin of blood and (b) the density of the tissue. Thus, the amount of bloodstream can be obtained by determining changes in the output of the bloodstream data detection means 4.
|
