<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an assembly method of a ball bearing capable of assembling the ball bearing to provide a cage with an envisioned play amount, and to provide a ball bearing. <P>SOLUTION: This assembly method of a ball bearing 10 is used for assembling the ball bearing where a plurality of balls 13 arranged between an inner ring raceway and an outer ring raceway of bearing rings 11 and 12 are rollably held by the case 14.
