<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk reading system capable of suppressing a manufacturing cost of an optical disk provided with identification information and to provide the optical disk of a low manufacturing cost. <P>SOLUTION: The optical disk reading system 1 is provided with a DVD 2 in which data are recorded by a press master, an identifying means reading identification information that the DVD has to identify the DVD 2. A bar code showing the identification information is provided by printing directly on a disk surface in a light transmissible circumferential region for identification of the peripheral part of a center hole of the DVD 2.
