The equipment consists of a vertical chimney (1) opening into a smaller diameter horizontal section. This section houses an air turbine, which is connected to an electrical generator or other mechanical drive (6). The discharge duct (4) opens onto a discharge section (7) of increased diameter which contains a number of extraction fans (5). The fans are electrically driven from the generator (6). The entire system is insulated against radiation losses. The kinetic energy of the mass of air in motion is greater than the power required to drive the fans, resulting in an excess of generated power. |
