<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a CO detector for a combustor capable of effectively self-diagnosing the deterioration of a proton conductor CO sensor left, as it is, in a low-humidity atmosphere, and a CO alarm device for the combustor, capable of effectively self-diagnosing the deterioration of a proton conductor CO sensor to issue an alarm for sensor abnormality. <P>SOLUTION: The CO detector for the combustor applies AC voltage of constant amplitude of frequency to the proton conductor CO sensor so as to regard AC impedance as the resistance component of a proton conductor, when the combustor is not ignited and the voltage of the magnitude, corresponding to the resistance component of the probe conductor, when the AC voltage applying means 106 applies AC voltage is measured by a voltage-measuring means 101-3. When the voltage measured by the voltage measuring means becomes a magnitude that correspond to the resistance component of the proton conductor shown by the deteriorated proton conductor CO sensor, deterioration of the proton conductor CO sensor is estimated by a deterioration estimating means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
