Lining of ingot mould hoods

Refractory or exothermic lining for ingot hoods for foundries consists of plates having truncated wedge shape and offset sides to fit together with each other. The wedge shapes ensure that the plates fit against each other with no gaps showing. Assembly can be done by unskilled labour.
