1338090 Cleaning apparatus AGFA - GEVAERT A G 9 Dec 1970 [10 Dec 1969] 58400/70 Heading G2H A photo-conductive drum (2), Fig. 1, (not shown) is cleaned by a web (8) which passes from a supply reel (7) to a take-up reel (10) via a roller 21 which presses the web (8) against the drum. In normal use roller 21 is rotated in a direction C by friction contact with the web (8) and this rotation causes a sleeve 30 to move upwards. When the web (8) is exhausted or if it becomes torn, it ceases to move roller 21 which then becomes rotated in a direction E by friction contact with the drum (2). This causes sleeve 30 to move downwards and close switch contacts 33, 34. This energizes acoustic and visual warning signals 38, 52 and energizes a relay 39 which opens a switch 45 to de-energize the main drive 49, the projection lamp 50 and the corona discharge 51. |
