<p>The engine has a flow control detector (4) which operate as a function of the volumetric efficiency of the engine and may be used for controlling the fuel injection (8). The flow detector (4) is arranged in the suction line (2) of the engine upstream of the throttle valve, and produces a signal which controls the fuel metering pump (8), which affect the operation of the engine. The detector may comprise two parallel ducts (13, 14) each having two throttles (15, 15' and 17, 17') defining chambers (16, 18) connected (1a) by an air pump (20), and a pressure difference detector (25) between inlet (11) and outlet (12) or between the chambers (16, 18), giving the output signal controlling the pump (8).</p> |
