The shaft (10) has axial ducts in (13,14) and a pipe (2) sitting tightly on it so that it is sealed. The cross-sectional surfaces (23,24) of the ducts (13,14) are hollowed out from the cross-sectional surface (25) of the shaft (1). The ducts (13,14) lead into windows (5-8) in the pipe (2). The windows (5-8) are long in a peripheral direction, and narrow in an axial direction. USE/ADVANTAGE - The shaft withstands high loads and has ducts in which are easily produced.
