PURPOSE:To improve the compression strength, bending strength, wear resistance and impact resistance of the block concerned and facilitate its transportation and laying by a method wherein the top face part of a form, in which concrete is placed, is blocked up and connected with a vacuum pump so as to bring the interior of the form in a vacuum in order to cure the concrete in the vacuumized form. CONSTITUTION:At the curing of concrete 4, which is placed in a form and vibratingly compacted, in a curing chamber, the concrete 4 is pressed together by being pressurized by vacuum. The pressurizing treatment by vacuum is constituted by mounting rubber sealing 8 along the edge of the top face of the concrete placed in the form 1 and laying cloth filter 9 on the top face and further placing a blocking plate 5 on the filter so as to bring the interior of the form 1 in a vacuum by operating a vacuum pump 3 in order to apply the atmospheric pressure of 7-9t/m<2> of the face of the concrete, resulting in uniformly pressing together the concrete 4 in the form 1. |
