PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To drain all of used sterilizing water after sterilization and then use newly supplied water as cleaning water to improve sterilizing effect by equipping a sterilizer with a water sprayer and the bottom thereof with a liquid room and building a boiler room with a heater in the liquid room. SOLUTION: The inside of this sterilizer for matters to be sterilized existing on soiled medical instruments, etc., is made to be a steam room 9 whose bottom part is equipped with a liquid room 7. On operation of heating sterilization for matters to be sterilized, sterilizing water is started to be supplied to the liquid room 7 at first and stopped when the water level in the liquid room 7 reached the upper limit of a level sensor, and then a heater 30 of the boiler room 31 is turned on to start heating of the sterilizing water. After a while, the inside of the sterilizing room is filled with steam and the matters to be sterilized in the sterilizing room are heated and sterilized. Washing is carried out after that a cleaning water supply solenoid valve 14 is opened as a drain solenoid valve is closed to spray the cleaning water through the spray nozzle 16 of a water sprayer 17 to discharge all bacteria died in the sterilizer outside. |
