PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the contact between a magnetic disk and a master disk with a simple and low-cost structure to which particles hardly adhere. SOLUTION: A magnetic transcription is conducted as follows: The master disk 13 in which a prescribed pattern recorded is brought into firm contact with the magnetic disk 12 and the prescribed pattern is transcribed into the magnetic disk 12 by adding magnetic field from a transcription magnet 14. In this case, for example, a band-like soft magnetic ribbon 15 consisting of fibers 16 and a soft magnetic thin film 17 is arranged on the different side of the magnetic disk 12 to the face where the magnetic disk 12 gets firm contact with the master disk 13, thereby improves the close contact between the magnetic disk 12 and the master disk 13 by making use of the force with which the transcription magnet 14 attracts the soft magnetic thin film 17.
