Disclosed is a screen end upgrade method for a modular television. The screen end upgrade method comprises: when a screen end detects an upgrade instruction, the screen end sends an upgrade request to a card end; the card end acquires a configuration file in an external device according to the upgrade request, and sends the configuration file to the screen end; the screen end acquires the configuration file and matching upgrade requirement information in the upgrade instruction, and sends a file acquiring request to the card end according to the upgrade requirement information; the card end acquires a system file in the external device according to the file acquiring request, and sends the system file to the screen end; and the screen end performs upgrade according to the system file. Further disclosed is a modular television. In this way, in a case in which a screen end cannot directly use a hardware external interface, a method for mandatorily upgrading a conventional television is applied to screen end upgrade for a modular television, so that operations of the screen end upgrade for the modular television are simplified, thereby improving system recovery efficiency of products in a production line after the products have faults, simplifying after-sale service operations, and also reducing production cost. |
