PURPOSE:To obtain a sharp distribution of a toner triboelectrification amount by using a quinacridone type pigment as a colorant and the metal compound of aromatic oxycarboxylic acid as a negatively chargeable charge controller and incorporating an auxiliary charge controller active in reverse polarity to sad charge controller in the toner. CONSTITUTION:The toner contains the quinacridone type dye as the colorant and the metal compound of the aromatic oxycarboxylic acid as the negatively chargeable charge controller and the auxiliary charge controller incompatible with the fixing resin but dispersible in it and having a charge controlling action in polarity reverse to the negatively chargeable charge controller, thus permitting the obtained toner to be adapted to a favorable triboelectrification amount and to obtain a sharp toner charge distribution. |
