PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical pickup device capable of reproducing a signal by a proximate light following an optical disk even when the optical disk is inclined, and to provide an optical disk device provided with the optical pickup device. SOLUTION: This optical pickup device 1 is provided with a light projecting/ receiving part 3, an objective lens 4 and a base body 2 having an SIL 5 (solid emersion lens) fixed thereto. The base body 2 is supported on a device main body 10 via a spring 6 so that the emitting surface 5b of the SIL 5 faces the signal recording surface 101 of an optical disk 100. The SIL 5 of the optical pickup device 1 is pressed in a direction toward the signal recording surface 101 of the optical disk 100 by the force of the spring 6. When a force applied by an air flow due to the rotation of the optical disk 100 on the optical pickup device and the force of the spring 6 are balanced, the interval between the emitting surface 5b of the SIL 5 and the signal recording surface 101 of the optical disk 100 is kept constant. |
