PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a desired vehicle height adjustment, without increasing the size of a driving source. SOLUTION: In this vehicle height adjusting device, a vehicle body B of a vehicle can be elevated by driving a driving source held on the vehicle body B side in relation to the position of an upper end of a suspension spring S locking the vehicle body B side by the upper end, while carrying a lower end on an axle side of the vehicle. The vehicle height adjusting device has a gas pressure source G juxtaposed with the driving source. The vehicle height is raised by repulsive force of the gas pressure source G and an output of the driving source, and the repulsive force of the gas pressure source G is canceled by the output of the driving source to lower the vehicle height by weight of the vehicle body B.
