<p>One of the processing units operates as a line switching unit, and one as a program control unitsatellite-like connected to a doubled central store, and functional states of system units operating as processing units and storage units are logged in at least one state register. In order to signal failure of the whole system other connected exchanges have a logic circuit (L1, L2) connected to register stages of functional state register (FZR), in which the functional states are stored, which signal the failure of the whole system. Outputs of the logic circuits are connected through further circuits to the system switching circuits (SAA) for outgoing data traffic, so that when the whole system fails, the system switching circuits send out a start polarity.</p> |
