PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a security system managing the security of the operation starting of various devices through the use of a data carrier system constituted of a data carrier and a main device. SOLUTION: A security system transmits a collation radio wave from a main device only at the time of starting a desired operation such as starting the power of a computer, starting a program and starting the engine of a vehicle. Collation data returned from a data carrier is collated with data which is previously registered in the main device. A starting operation is continued when they are matched in the collation. When they are not matched in collation, the starting operation is stopped. A final use history is updated and is informed to the data carrier so as to preserve it. At the time of data collation, the final use history is collated and it is warned to a user when they are not matched. |
