The capping air chuck mounted on the automatic capping machine grips an upper cap by pneumatic force. The capping air chuck consists of a housing (1) formed with screw member (6) and air hole (7) in middle part, pressure element (2) with O-shaped ring on the outside, gripper chuck (3) with concare groove (21) of circular ring which is made of natural rubber or synthetic rubber, central shaft (4) with concare groove (24) which has screw member (22) on the upper part and air hole (23) in the middle part. The central shaft (4) integrally formed with flange part (25) on the lower part is provided with outlet (26) of remaining air from lower center to air hole (23).
