<p>PURPOSE: To solve the problem of heat aggregation peculiar to a two-component developer using a polymer carrier and to obtain a two-component developer not causing fogging due to the aggregation of the developer even when many images are continuously formed. CONSTITUTION: This two-component developer consists of a toner and a carrier formed by mixing magnetic powder with a resin binder. When this developer is put in a developing unit and allowed to stand at 45 deg.C and 80% relative humidity for 1hr, the amt. of coarse powder of >=200 mesh is <=20wt.% of the total amt. and the amt. of fine powder of <=325 mesh is <=50wt.%.</p> |
