PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the illegal use of an IC card by inputting the signature of a user via a touch panel when the coincidence is confirmed between the number registered on the IC card and a shown number to identify whether the inputted signature of the user is coincident with that recorded on the IC card and accordingly using not only a personal number but the signature of the user to identify the IC card. SOLUTION: A person in charge of a store inputs the sales amount via a keyboard 16 of a person-in-charge terminal 13 to display the sales amount also on a liquid crystal display 23 of a customer terminal. A customer confirms the displayed sales amount, sets his/her own IC card 18 on an IC card interface 24 and inputs his/her personal ID number via a touch panel 21. When the ID number is coincident with the number registered on the card 18, the customer confirms the balance shown on the card 18 and then inputs his/her signature via the panel 21 by means of an input pen 22. The person in charge of the store compares visually the signature stored in the card 18 displayed on the terminal 13 with the signature which is inputted by the customer on a liquid crystal display 17 to confirm the signature of the customer. |
