PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow raw water to uniformly flow in a resin housing part by providing a channelling preventing means for preventing an uneven flow of the raw water on the lower part of the resin housing part of a water softener. SOLUTION: The channelling preventing means is provided on the lower part of the resin housing part 2 such that the raw water is passed through with a uniform upward counter flow, while the same water surface is maintained, without forming a partial water path in the resin housing part 2. The uneven flow preventing means is provided with a channelling preventing body 10 on the bottom 9 of the resin housing part 2, and a first uneven flow preventing member 11 is provided on the upper part of the channelling preventing body 10, and a second channelling preventing member 12 is mounted on the upper part of the first channelling preventing member 11, and ion exchange resin 13 is filled in the upper part of the second channelling preventing member. Thus, the raw water is adequately softened with the ion exchange resin 13. |
