<p>A seal ring used between rotating parts of a rotating machine such as a steam turbine capable of preventing a sealing performance from lowering by accurately moving the seal ring as specified, comprising seal ring part pieces respectively constituting divided upper and lower parts and right and left parts of the ring, wherein these divided pieces are arranged so that the one side surfaces of them are brought in contact slidably with each other by a vertically energized spring installed between one side surfaces of the seal ring parts, and a seal guide for guiding the seal ring part pieces in vertical direction is provided to prevent a collision between the seal ring part pieces and to move them inward under load so as to reduce clearances between seal fins and corresponding surfaces.</p> |
