<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a powdery and granular carbonized material useful for an active carbon and the like by effectively processing vinyl chloride-based resin waste materials such as wall papers, artificial leather products, and building materials of which the proper disposal method has not been established enough except land reclamation. <P>SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of the powdery and granular carbonized material is characterised in that the vinyl chloride-based resin waste materials containing calcium carbonate and a ligneous fibrous material are heated to be dehydrochlorinated, and the residue is washed with an aqueous solution, and then, heated to be carbonized. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
