PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a trimming die for making a cardboard box, which hardly causes bending of a corrugated board at a folding line of a tear strip in box making, and can prevent body bulging in stacking. SOLUTION: In the trimming die for die cutter for making a cardboard box in such a manner that a vertical surface plate 2 and a horizontal surface plate 3 are provided continuously through a ridge rule 1, an unsealing tear strip 7 and a starting part 8 thereof parallel to the ridge rule 1 are provided, the tear strip 7 is formed by a corrugated cut line 7a, the cut line 7a is formed of a lead having a full-cut part extending to both sides of the corrugated board and a half-cut part in which the corrugated board is cut from the reverse side to the middle in its thickness direction, and the vertical surface plate 2 and the horizontal surface plate 3 are folded along the ridge rule 1 to make the box, the amplitude centerline of a lead blade 11 is inclined relative to a pressing member 10 so that the amplitude centerline of the corrugated cut line 7a is inclined to the ridge ruled line 1 at the boundary between the vertical surface plate 2 and the horizontal surface plate 3.
